Fun Workout with Kids!

I am working out with one of my favorite workout buddies! I'm so lucky that my 5 year old (almost 6 yo) loves to workout with me. Since we're spending most days at home he has lots of energy to burn! In this video James is referencing one of his favorite video games. Using the character moves I put exercises into place that allow you and your family to build strength and more health.

After a short warmup we jump into a few moves inspired by his favorite video game. You can pick any character that your kids like and mimic their moves with squats, jumps, kicks, pushups, slams and the list goes on.

Exercise moves Include:
-Jabs
-Squat slam
-Forward lunge and press
-Squat hop
-Side shuttle

The point here is to have fun. Share your love of fitness with your kids in an easy way that allows them to freely move their bodies to create deeper appreciation for health and fitness.

We are filling multiple needs with this workout. We need to burn some energy, build strength and find something productive to do with our time in between school work.

Don't forget that your love of fitness and ease of fitness will rub off on your kids. This will help set them up for a lifetime of positive correlation to fitness!
