I absolutely love the flow of using a ball to allow my body to fall into a stretch. Think of this more as draping your body over the ball.
Letting things fall into place and allowing these exercise ball stretches to feel so good. I have talked before about using the ball as leverage.
This time we are using the ball as leverage to stretch those muscles that might be sore, tight and tense. Between gravity, the curve of the ball and your body draping abilities you can control the stretch. Allow yourself to sink deep into the full-body stretch or keep things more conservative as you go. Sometimes the smallest tweak in your angle or stretch depth makes all the difference. When holding a stretch hold for 15 seconds before moving on.
Take slow deep breaths to allow your brain to tell your body to relax and do what feels good!
