How to do a Summer Ready Beach Body Workout

I am so excited to show you how to do a summer ready beach body workout to get yourself feeling strong and confident for all your swimsuit activities. There's no doubt that we all have that thought about putting on a swimsuit, and for me it's all about confidence. Knowing that I take care of my body is the #1 most important factor in feeling beach ready! First, we focus on shoulders and core, because these tend to be the most common areas that I think about when I'm getting ready for summer. I like to feel definition and strength in my arms and shoulders as well as control in my core. With a controlled core it's easier to carry yourself , and walk confidently in anything that you do. Consistent core exercises and challenges will bring you control in your core which will also make it much easier to do typical ab exercises.

I like to focus on consistency, because the act of exercise over and over again brings that sense of confidence that we can shine everywhere we go!

The Warmup:

  • Arm Swing
  • Bear Hugs
  • Leg Swing
  • Squat Reach

The Workout:

  • 10 Step Press Alternating
  • 10 Single Arm Shoulder Press
  • 10 Standing Side Crunch
  • 10 Tricep Extension
  • 10 Anterior Deltoid Lift
  • 10 Back Fly

  • 10 Step Press Alternating

  • 10 Single Leg Wide Angle Bicep Curls
  • 10 Bent over Leg Lift - Glute Squeeze
  • 10 Weighted Squat Leg Lift
  • 10 Weighted Side Lunge
  • 10 Single Leg Kick Front to Back

This workout is such a fun full body workout with weights that moves along quickly, but doesn't feel like an overly difficult workout. I hope this workout gives you a challenge that is doable, and leaves you feeling confident, accomplished and in control.

Control of your core, definition in your shoulders and full body strength are the goals for this beach body workout!
