Back Exercises At Home with Dumbbells

This Back Exercises at home workout with dumbbells feels so good! Any tension in the upper back usually comes from an imbalance in the back somewhere. This workout always re-sets my back muscles and brings everything back into alignment. I use these back exercises very often for my Personal Training clients to help with back pain from lifting, sitting too long, standing too long or any other modern day patterns.

Using hand weights to create more resistance helps build strength AND mobility in your back and muscles and joints. The strength to do all the things in a day can sometimes really be heavy. Literally and figuratively.

Sometimes exercising back muscles is more than just using weights. We need to use our bodies against gravity. Body weight against gravity can provide a great amount of natural resistance creating an absolutely perfect functional exercise. This workout is all about function!
