10 Minute Intense Cardio Workout At Home

This is a 10 Minute Intense Cardio Workout at home. With no equipment, just a chair! Find a sturdy chair or elevated surface that you can use for leverage. You'll want a place to keep your hands steady during some of the moves.

After a quick warmup we jump into the workout with minimal breaks. We need to keep your body moving for enough time to get your heart rate up while doing the moves just like a hiit workout. This workout is very similar to a hiit workout at home, but slightly different because it is slightly less structured based on time.

I want you to feel your way through each move and intensity level so you can adjust as necessary according to what your body needs. The best way to increase your cardiovascular health is to push yourself just a little bit past your comfort zone, and keep doing that each time you do your cardio workout so you can increase your fitness level.

Remember to keep your posture on point the entire time! That means shoulders back, core engaged and chin away from chest so you are keeping your body and muscles in the position that gives you the best results.

Warmup:

Bear Hugs
Leg Swings

Workout:

Set 1
10 Squat Reach
20 Second Elevated Mountain Climbers
10 Split Squats on each leg
10 Squat Kick
Repeat

Set 2
Marching in place
20 Second High Knees
10 Squat Hop and Turn
20 Second Jabs
20 Elevated Plank Feet Jacks
10 Split Squat Hop on Each Leg
Repeat

Set 3
Running in place
20 Elevated Feet Hops
10 Seconds Walking in Place
20 Seconds Running in Place
20 Seconds Running in a Squat
20 Elevated Feet Hops

Cool Down:

Squat Reach and Twist

Your Cool Down for this one is important, because your body needs time to bring your heart rate back down gently to avoid an abrupt change in blood flow. Feel free to walk in place if you need more time to cool down from your cardio workout!
